Spreading holiday cheer to struggling communities

In the spirit of Christmas giving, our Brisbane team supported local charities—Share the Dignity, Micah Projects, and Northside Connect—to brighten the holiday season for vulnerable Australians, assembling 324 care packages valued at approximately $7,700.

Global teams champion men's mental health for Movember

With mental health and wellbeing remaining a key issue in our everyday lives, particularly for men, our global teams all pitched in to raise $1,932 for Movember to de-stigmatize men’s health issues and encourage open conversations.

Raising over $15,000 as we push for better mental health

Our Brisbane and Perth teams participated in the 2024 Push-Up Challenge, 'pushing' for better mental health for all Australians. In an outstanding effort, we completed a total of 93,913 push-ups and raised $15,429 – the 9th highest fundraising team in Australia!

Bringing winter warmth to those in need with a blanket drive

Our Johannesburg office participates in annual blanket drives to support struggling communities during the colder months. These efforts extend beyond just the homeless; last year, we donated pet food alongside blankets to bring warmth and comfort to the country’s furry friends in need.

Annual Saturday of Service empowers local communities

Our North American offices hold annual ‘Saturdays of Service’ to give back to the community in various ways. This year, our teams have educated children on the history of mining, served meals at food banks, helped plant trees, and participated in garbage cleanups.

Supporting the next generation of miners

For the past four years, our Canadian offices have helped sponsor the Canadian Mining Games. In addition to hosting an event, we have provided over 150 students from 11 universities with free software licenses and training to help them prepare for the competition.
